Koumas Hints At Cardiff Stay

If Cardiff were to get promotion to the Premiership, it could see midfielder Jason Koumas staying with the club.

That's what the midfielder hinted when he spoke to the press but on the other hand, it does not mean that failure to reach the top flight will see Koumas saying goodbye.

Koumas is on loan from West Brom and he is enjoying his stay at Ninian Park, West Brom could very well be heading towards Championship football next season after they slipped up at the weekend and Birmingham won to close the gap at the bottom of the table to three points between them and safety.

Koumas' loan spell ends at the end of the season and if Cardiff want to keep the inspirational midfielder then promotion could only help the situation.

Koumas said: 'I've no idea yet what I'm going to do next season.

'I'll sit down and see what happens, what's there for me. I'm enjoying myself now and I'm hoping to do something with Cardiff. It would be nice if we could go up, but I'll have to see.

'We're three points behind and there's still 30 points to play for and we've got some nice home games coming up. We feel we can pick points up, I feel we're still going to be in there.'
