Cardiff City To Play With New Balls

Cardiff City will play unfamiliar opposition, on a pitch they have only visited once and to top it all - the FA Cup Final will be played with a new fangled type of ball !

This particular spherical object will be a new UMBRO FA Cup Dynamis ball featuring a 20 panel design.

'The new Teijin micro fibre material gives the ball its power and a super soft touch. While the Dynamis is also the first football to use new Tri-Ply bladder technology, designed to increase the power and accuracy of any strike of the ball.'

Why this is necessary, I do not know. I don;t think anyone can complain about the current ball but as long as it doesn;t move differently to cause problems for the goalkeepers - fair enough.
