Cardiff City's Ledley & Thompson On Thin Ice

Cardiff City's Ledley & Thompson On Thin Ice

Cardiff City have two players, likely to feature in the final league game of the season and who must be extra careful not to collect a yellow card.

Midfielder Joe Ledley, and powerful striker Steve Thompson have both accrued 4 yellow cards apiece during Championsip, FA Cup and League Cup action. This means that if either player was cautioned during the Barnsley game, they would pick up an automatic 1 match ban ruling them out of the FA Cup final against Portsmouth.

Ledley's tenascity and committment, aswell as Thompson's power and determination make them both likely to accumulate several yellow cards over the season and neither can afford another.
