Cardiff City fans seem to be content on the whole that the ticket policy employed by the club for the distribution of FA Cup final tickets WAS fair.
With demand for the semi-final so high, and the decrease in 8000 tickets available for the final - there were always going to be problems - and some would be left frustrated.
The club announced its policy, with a maximum of 2 per person (for full details see here) meaning that this seasons ambassadors who have renewed already, lost out on one ticket each.
Away travel club members also got somewhat of a raw deal, with new ambassadors for next season given priority as the club look to maximise current income and attendances for next season.
A poll on this Vital Cardiff City website asked:
FA Cup Ticketing Policy - Fair ?
Suggested By: gtsutton
Yes. As fair as possible. 61%
Not bad, could be better. 6%
Don't much care. 5%
No, poor decisions. 2%
Terrible. Unfair policy. 26%
Predictably, those people who have missed out will be extremely disappointed and vocal in their opionions and numerous fans who have shown loyalty to the club cannot be rewarded as they are not season ticket holders.
However, the majority was pleased with the clubs efforts - now we must wait to see that everything runs smoothly with the postal applications and tickets arrive!
