Cardiff City Hit By Chest Infections
Cardiff City's preparations for today's must-win clash against already relegated Scunthorpe United have been hit by an untimely bout of chest infections within the squad.
Worryingly, two of the players worst hit are the two goalkeepers Peter Enckelman and Michael Oakes. These two were kept segregated from other squad members whilst other players showed mild symptoms.
Another person affected was manager Dave Jones, he also stayed away from the players and left training to Terry Burton and Paul Wilkinson whilst he watched from afar.
However, all the players are expected to be recovered in time to play although we will have to wait and see the team-sheet to be sure.
The last infection to hit the squad was last year when the revelation came out after a truly woeful performance in a 2-0 defeat to Charlton Athletic. Hopefully that will not be repeated !
