Newcastle Join Chase For Ramsey

Newcastle United are the latest Premiership club to express strong interest in Cardiff City's highly rated teenager Aaron Ramsey.

Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, Everton and Newcastle United are all tracking Ramsey with interest and there are likely to be other clubs monitoring the situation.

Ramsey's talent and potential is likely to bring about a move to one of the biggest Premiership clubs as they vye to snap us the young homegrown talents like Gareth Bale and Theo Walcott before them.

Cardiff City do not want to sell, but if a big four club came knocking and offering upwards of 5m - It seems likely we'd listen, and could you blame Aaron for moving on?

Ramsey has a huge future, and will surely be worth a massive amount very soon. As to whether we can afford to wait that long - only time will tell. I really hope we see A Ramsey named on the team-sheet for the first game of the 2008-09 season.

lets just hope he keeps his feet on the ground and realises, with cardiff he will play atleast half of the season, in the prem he will play less than half reserve games.
