Cardiff Tickets Policy - Is It Fair?

Cardiff City have finally, after much anticipation and discussion, decided on the ticketing structure for the FA Cup Final against Portsmouth.

For details see here.

Essentially, the club has looked to reward loyalty with this seasons ambassadors getting 2 tickets, while also ensuring higher gates next term by luring new ambassadors for next campaign.

Is this fair? Obviously with 8000 less tickets available than the sold out semi-final - it was going to be tough.

Away travel members are not guaranteed a seat, while long-time ambassadors get 2 rather than 3.

A poll is now open on Vital Cardiff asking your opinions on the ticketing policy. The poll is visible on the right side of your screen (halfway down the page).

Ticketing policy for the Final is marginally fairer than for the Semi because the maximum available per person is 2 not 3. But many real regular supporters [and especially Away Travel Club Members whose support throughout the season is vital] will again miss out. Those admittedly genuine supporters who for the Semi bought up their 2 or 3 ticket allocation and took along "family and friends" ought to be persuading them to turn up at Ninian Park once a fortnight instead of (or as well as) taking them off to Wembley for a special treat! The genuine 13,000+ who turn up at home games are the ones who should be at Wembley. All of them want to be there but even though there are 18,000 tickets available many of them won't be .. so, no - the system is not fair ..

Seems a bit harsh not rewarding the away supporters.

away supporters seem to have missed out for us too...seems odd that both teams would turn a blind eye on one group...

how is it fair now, i go to cardiff when we was losing at the start of the season, and i was one of the small 12-13,000 watching from start to finish. now tickets are available for the final, people are taking extas with them who dont go, so it is very un-fair
