WBA Fan's View On Cardiff City Clash

Vital Cardiff City found a willing (but nameless) West Bromwich Albion fan ahead of the midweek clash between Cardiff City and the Baggies.

Automatic promotion or play-offs more likely?

We have to go all out for automatic, its a no brainer. With the cup run we have games in hand, obviously we need to win them first but I think we're still on for the Championship.

Would you sacrifice the automatic position to lift the FA Cup in May?

Thats a 'heart vervus head' one, I'd have to say no. The cup run is great but we have to be playing Premiership football again next season so promotion has to be the priority, but both would be pretty acceptable!

Backing yourselves to beat Portsmouth?

Indeed I am, put some money on this week. Pompey are a good team in that they know what they need to do to grind out results but against us they're expected to win. We could beat anyone on our day so it should be a good one.

West Brom player to watch and why?

I could list a few but I'll go for Chrissy Brunt who should be able to whip a few dangerous crosses in.

If you could have one Cardiff player on a free, who and why?

I feel Cardiff's strength is in a team unit rather than individuals but if what I'm hearing about the kid Ramsey is true then he'd probably be a wise choice!

Prediction for the game?

We need the points and I just think we'll be too strong for you. Best of luck in the semi-final but I see us winning 3-1.
