Blake Injury Blow For Cardiff City
Cardiff City's talented youngster Darcy Blake has picked up a groin injury folowing the weekend's 2-1 win over Bristol City.
Blake will miss tomorrow's crucial Wales U21s fixture against Bosnia, after helping the Welsh younster's to an exceptional campain so far.
Blake will now keep his manager sweating before Southampton visit Ninian Park this weekend as both he and usual right-back Kevin McNaughton are struggling with injury.
Blake is highly versatile but has been covering at right-back recently and has done well - if he does miss out, Cardiff will be forced to turn to veteran Trevor Sinclair or bring someone in on loan, one possibility being Ashley Williams of Stockport County - tipped for a move to South Wales.
Blake joins McNaughton, Ledley and Fowler on the treatment table whilst Hasselbaink still has 2 games of a ban to serve and Scimeca, Feeney and Sinclair have barely featured since returning from long injury lay-offs.
