Cardiff City v Bristol (+ Trundle!)

Cardiff City host the Severnside derby match today although much of the build-up has been dominated by the upcoming FA Cup semi-final clash against Barnsley.

Bristol City visit today and old rivalries are renewed. Bristol are flying high in the Championship and have done remarkably well all season - they will be out to keep their play-off puch moving forward.

The two teams met earlier at Ashton gate, a narrow 1-0 win for Brizzle after Steve Thompson was sent off for a clumsy challenge on Adriano Basso.

Of course, the game also means a trip to Ninian Park for a Mr Lee Trundle. It's fair to say, the former Wrexham and Swansea City striker is not a popular figure in Cardiff and is certain to be given a raucous reception. In fact, Trundle will most likely be subject to as much, if not more abuse, as John Hartson received at Ninian Park last season.

Whilst Cardiff City eyes will be diverted towards Wembley, thereis a job to do here first. Cardiff relly could do with a good performance and result - if only to ensure a mid-table position and travel to Wembley in decent form.
