Colchester vs Cardiff (Team News)

Cardiff City could be without versatile defender Kevin McNaughton after the Scotsman tweaked his hamstring midweek. That would pose a selction dilemma for Dave Jones with no like-for-like replacement available. Darcy Blake, or more likely Trevor Sinclair would deputise with his place in midfield go to the returning Joe Ledley.

Elsewhere, Hasselbaink may return in attack in place of Steve Thompson but Aaron Ramsey looks set to miss out.

Robbie Fowler is the only long term absentee with Scimeca, Feeney and Ledley all making full returns.

Colchester United will be without centre-back Cris Coyne so former Cardiff City triallist Bela Belogh may start. Otherwise that place will go to new loanee Matt Heath from Leeds United.

Colchester United have somewhat of an injury crisis at present and will again be without: Kevin Watson (calf), veteran Teddy Sheringham (foot), Pat Baldwin (knee), Jamie Guy (heel), Mark Cousins (appendicitis), and Mark Yeates (shoulder).
