McPhail Goal Sees Cardiff Beat Hull

Cardiff City gained a valuable three points tonight courtest of a superb strike from Stephen McPhail. Yes thats right, Stephen McPhail. The shortest player on the park chested down on the edge of the area before spinning and volleying over Myhill, off the bar and it - a superb goal.

Cardiff dominated the early exchanges but after Hull City gained a grip, and McNaughton went off injured, the game became scrappy and disjointed.

Neither team manged to hold possession effectively and there were few shots on goal. Hull City caused some trouble to the City defence but were largely restricted to long range efforts.

In the end, Cardiff did what they needed to do and got all three points, yet another clean sheet for Peter Enckelman - thats 5 in 7 for the on-loan Finn.
