Cardiff City Get Barnsley In FA Cup

Cardiff City will travel to Wembley for a historic FA Cup semi-final against fellow Championship side Barnsley.

The draw means that Porstmouth and West Brom will compete the other semi-final.

The Bluebirds have seen off Chasetown, Hereford United, Wolverhampton Wanderers and Middlesbrough on their way to Wembley and make up one of three Championship sides to reach this stage. Only Portsmouth remain from British football's top division meaning that Cardiff City were installed by many to be 3rd favourites to lift the trophy behing Euro hopefuls Portsmouth and Championship poromotion contenders West Bromwich Albion.

Barnsley have had a tough trip to this stage having beaten Liverpool and Chelsea already. The draw does mean that City have an excellent chance to reach the FINAL of The FA Cup !!!
