Riverside Sell-Out For Cardiff Clash

Middlesborough FC have completely sold out of tickets for Sunday`s quarter-final as Cardiff City make the long trip North for the FA Cup quarter-final. The Riverside Stadium has a 35000 capacity and is expected to be full for the game.

Despite the tie being shown live on BBC, the game has captured the imaginations of many. Cardiff City look certain to finish mid-table despite dwindling hopes of a play-off spot while Middlesborough will see the game as a reasonable chance for silverware. Arsenal and Liverpool are already out, while 'Boro are able to beat anyone on their day as they remain the only side to have beaten leaders Arsenal in the league all season.

Cardiff City did still have some of their tickets remaining though the allocation is likely to be snapped up ahead of the trip and there will be a almost 4000 Bluebirds making the long journey.

sounds a bit like our supporters there ... happy and content to sit and watch on the box and not get out there and support the boys ... i was pleasantly surprised to hear that we sold out our allocation relatively quickly. come on cardiff fans, get to the game and visit the mighty north-east while you're there :)
