'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Arsenal Tracking Cardiff City Star

Cardiff City were already braced for a flurry of summer interest in one of football's brightest pospects in youngster Aaron Ramsey.

The teenage midfielder has been talked about for years but has come to prominence in the FA Youth cup and internationally for Wales U21s. One outstanding performance against the Gunners saw his stock rise and his recent appearances for the Cardiff City first team will only have increased his stock as he continues to impress.

Everton have already lodged firm interest aswell as a number of other clubs known to have watched Ramsey on several occasions. Now, Premiership title contenders Arsenal have increased their interest.

It is unknown whether the speculation will materialise but Ramsey is a hugely intelligent midfielder with great vision, movement and passing ability - he would certainly fit the Arsenal mould under Arsene Wenger as well as the Gunners' policy of rearing young players like Hoyte, Walcott, Fabregas etc.

Cardiff City have repeatedly re-iterated their desire to keep hold of such players, but the added interest will only make Ramsey's summer departure more likely. As we all know, 'every player has his price' - we must not sell Ramsey on the cheap - he surely has a huge future and it would be gutting to see him starring for other clubs and not Cardiff City.

good to see aaron ramsey getting some premiership interest and from one of the best teams in the world. but i think if he is intelligent he should stay because he will learn more from regular first team football than he would from 10 minutes of 1 outt of 20 games for arsenal

Very true - I'm sure Theo Walcott would avise him to stay playing regular football for a while first.
