Palace vs Cardiff City (Team News)

Its a familiar story for Cardiff City boss Dave Jones as he struggles to stretch a thin squad to cover injuries. After the weekend performance, changes are a must but it barely seems possible.

Joe Ledley will not quite be ready after recovering from the hamstring tear, he will return to contention for Sundays FA Cup tie at Middlesborough. Fellow returning midfielders Riccy Scimeca and Trevor Sinclair will both be named as substitutes as they strive to regain match fitness.

Stephen McPhail should be available after finally shaking off an ankle injury but strikers Warren Feeney and Robbie Fowler are both out.

Glenn Loovens is almost certain to return at central defence at the expense of Darren Purse.

Crystal Palaca have three players returning from one match bans. Tom Soares, James Scowcroft and Clint Hill are all important players and are available to Neil Warnock tonight.

Midfielders Neil Danns and Mark Kennedy look likely to miss out through injury meaning another start for Welshman Carl Fletcher in the Eagle's midfield.

Powerful forward Shefki Kuqi is unlikely to feature for Palace under Warnock again after making an obscene gesture towards fans after being substituted - he has been transfer-listed.

Loovens back in, McPhail to the bench, Whittingham on the left and Parry on the right. Thommo and Hasselbaink to hold the ball up as we're AWAY from home. No more excuses Mr Jones - just do it.
Aderyn las
Because something is happening here, but you don't know what it is, do you, Mr Jones? :p
