Cardiff's JFH Misses Out On Award
Cardiff City's Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has become the latest Bluebirds player to miss out on the FA Cup player of the round award.
Thus far, Aaron Ramsey and Paul Parry have missed out and City striker Hasselbaink can now be added to the list after his assist and exquisite goal against Wolves was not enough to score the award.
Instead, heroic goalkeeper Luke Steele on loan at Barnsley scooped the player award after his exploits kept a strong Liverpool line-up at bay and allowed a historic giant-killing for the Tykes courtesy of Brian Howard's late winner.
Steele is currently on loan at Oakwell from West Bromwich Albion but had an absolute stormer as he kept the Reds out.
Hoepfully, Cardiff City can have another player nominated in the next round, a quarter-final tie with either Middlesborough or Sheffield United awaits.
