Cardiff's Rambo Draws More Praise

Cardiff City's hugely promising youngster Aaron Ramsey has been impressing even more people with his skill and talent.

His manager Dave Jones is wary of over-hype in the media and has asked not to place too much pressure on his shoulders. That is a big ask when the teenager continues to put in superb performances. Even in defeat on Saturday, Ramsey looked special. Incredibly he was operating in an unfamiliar wide role, but his decision making was excellent and he came in from the left to good effect.

Passing, vision and fantastic individual skill are just some aspects of his game and Ramsey was desperately unlucky not to score his first City goal as his rasping drive rebounded against the post.

One former Cardiff City favourite Graham Kavanagh was adjudged man-of-the-match for the Owls and the experienced midfielder told the SW Echo:

"He`s got a great future in the game and is very composed on the ball with some nice touches, but it`s the next two seasons of his development that will count,"

"He`s a great talent no doubt about that and reminds me a bit of Joe Ledley when he broke into the first team.".

Ramsey will make mistakes, and he will play a poor game at some point. However, on current form he is well worth his place in the side and is providing extra creativity in Joe Ledley's absence. The one thing preying on every Cardiff City fan's mind is whether, come next season, they will still be able to watch Ramsey developing at Ninian Park....

rambo is starting to look like the player we have been missing in the centeral of midfield for years. with the rumors of kavs coming back to coach, he could mould young rambo into the next frank lampard

Kav cant come back to coach for a while yet, do you think Ramsey will still be a Cardiff player? I hope so.

Rambo plays alongside McPhail, Scimeca, Rae every day - he'd be silly to get carried away. Learn from their experiences Rambo, hope to see you still with us in the new stadium..
Bonesy
