Vital Cardiff City this week spoke to ardent Sheffield Wednesday supporter Alan about the upcoming clash between Sheffield Wednesday and Cardiff City:
Poor league position - whats been the problem?
Well we haven't been playing that badly, but its obvious that if you dont pick up points regularly - you will struggle. We can't seem to put a run together and always seem to lose by 1 goal !
Your thoughts on a busy transfer window for the Owls?
The big one for me was Glenn Whelan leaving, he was a huge player for us and I think we'll miss him. Obviously the loans of Kavanagh and now Sahar plug gaps in our injury hit squad but when looking at relegation - its not clever to sell your best player !
Former Cardiff favourite Graham Kavanagh - still doing the business?
Hopefully! He's vastly experienced and clearly very passionate - he can pass really well and we've lacked that at times. Some more control and creativity in the middle would be a big boost.
Sheff Wed player to watch on Saturday?
There's more pressure on Tudgay now than ever with Sodje and Jeffers out. Sahar I haven't seen so am looking for a big performances from Tudgay to lead the line and bag a goal or two.
If you could have one Cardiff player on a free - who and why?
Ledley for sure. I guess you get this all the time but he looks a class act and I cant believe he'll be with you much longer. Seems to be scoring goals for fun as well which is great for a midfielder.
Prediction for the game?
We battered Charlton and I think our luck is going to change soon. I reckon a 3-0 win for Wednesday, no really!
