Cardiff & Coventry In 0-0 Stalemate

Cardiff City earnt an away point at Coventry City after a 0-0 draw at the Ricoh Arena.

Cardiff named Enckelman and Ramsey in the starting XI at the expense of Oakes and McPhail but it was the home side had the better of a tame first half, Michael Mifsud seeing a shot well saved after he turned Roger Johnson.

However, Cardiff City improved in the second half and created a number of reasonable chances. Gavin Rae went close early on and Whittingham, Hasselbaink and most notably Parry all went close for Cardiff City. The visitors looked the more likely to net a winner although Leon Best did cause some trouble to the Cardiff defence after Mifsud was withdrawn.

The game ended in a draw, a point apiece and the slump halted for Cardiff. Ramsey and Enckelman were both impressive for City while they did play with more heart and flair in the second half. A natural finisher is missing, and its blatantly obvious.
