Cardiff City have no new injury concerns ahead of tonight's clash with Coventry City.
Robbie Fowler (hip) and Warren Feeney (ankle) remain sidelined, while Riccy Scimeca and Trevor Sinclair are lacking match practice.
Dave Jones has hinted at freshening up the side, that will likely mean a start up-front for Steve Thompson. Aaron Ramsey and Darcy Blake will again be substitutes despite doubts over McPhail's contribution in midfield.
Michael Oakes could also find himself a casualty in favour of Peter Enckelman. Cardiff have conceeded 4 goals in two defeats and Oakes has not looked commanding. Prior to that, a mistake gifted QPR a consolation goal in a 3-1 win for the Bluebirds.
Coventry City caretakers Frankie Bunn and John Harbin have one injury doubt over Michale Hughes in midfield. Stepehn Hughes replaced his namesake at half time on Saturday and will hope for a starting position.
Top scorer Michael Mifsud will be fit to partner Leon Best in attack after returning from the bench on Saturday.
Youngster Scott Dann may get a start in defence after signing from Walsall.
Former Cardiff player Julian Gray should starrt while former targets Leon Best and Dimi Konstantopolous will also feature for the Sky Blues.
